Our client required a reliable emergency and standby battery support solution for critical utility infrastructure. Given the high-stakes nature of these systems, the client needed real-time monitoring of battery performance, alongside a scalable model capable of managing a growing portfolio of assets. A key technical requirement included the development of a bespoke Modbus map tailored to the specific battery systems deployed.

Portfolio Management

Implemented a centralized portfolio view, enabling the client to monitor all critical assets at a glance and quickly assess system-wide performance.

Utilised the J-Box Bridge to act as a secure intermediary. It collects data from Modbus devices - including meters, G100 protection relays, and inverters - and translates it for the BMS without ever allowing the two networks to "see" each other.

Robust Alarm Framework

Utilised Juggle’s comprehensive alarm and alerting system to proactively identify issues, ensuring rapid response to any anomalies across the network.

By bridging the two networks via a serial bus rather than a standard TCP/IP routing connection, the solution effectively firewalls the client’s infrastructure from external threats and third-party hardware.
